Shoe Obsession???

Some of you might know that I have a small shoe obsession. (small being quite the understatement). Well, this week has been an exciting week for me........the Nordstrom Sale started on Wednesday and I bought 2 pairs of new shoes. Those of you who have known me for a long time know that my parents use to get quite upset with my shoe problem. So when I would buy a new pair of shoes I would throw away the boxes in a garbage far far from my house and if they happened to notice I had new shoes on I would usually lie and say I had them forever or that they were my friends shoes. Well, I'm sorry to say a whole lot hasn't changed since I got married!!!!! Well, Jed being the smart guy that he is though counted all my shoes when we got married so he would know how many I have. So now, I've learned that when I buy a new pair---I have to rotate an old pair out of the closet. So basically what I'm saying is Karmen ---be expecting 2 pairs of my old shoes any day in the mail!!!!

Okay- I am dying here. I just heard about the Nordstrom Shoe sale and was going to suggest in your comments that that was where you had been and why you hadn't updated your blog. Wow. Cosmic how well we know each other. You wanna guess what I am doing right now??
So did you find a pair of black boots? Last time I was at your house, I noticed you were "running low". You were down to 3 or 4 pairs I think.
If we had known Jed was going to count your shoes when you got msrried, we all would have shipped you our shoes, wouldn't we??
I, for one, will never understand your shoe obsession. For what one pair of shoes costs, you could buy like 6 sheets of cardstock and a pack of stickers. Sheesh

I have always been grateful for your obsession because there have been several times when I have benefited directly from it! Can I put in dibs on the bronze pair when you get ready to rotate them out? WAY CUTE!!!! Plus they would match a watch I have.

Wow, I'm amazed you even talk to me. I have like 4 pairs of shoes: one pair for church, one for camping, one for working in the yard, and one really fancy pair in case I do something spectacular like go to Chuck-A-Rama!

Great update, yes we Clark's get nasty when blogs aren't updated regularly!

You know, the more we get to know Jed, the more we love him!!! And, by the way, dear niece, I'll bet your folks weren't as fooled as you like to think! I remember those days when I (Pat) could wear shoes more for style than comfort--those pictures make me get leg cramps just looking at them! Keep going on the blog--it's great!

Nalani failed to mention that she cheated and went to the sale first thing in the morning, when we already made plans to go after work. Needless to say she went again with me. You should have seen how bugged she was when the shoe lady told her she couldn't purchase another pair of shoes she wanted because they were beng recalled!!
