Slow and Steady

Today was a SCARY day for me...we got our new hot tub a couple of days ago and so now we needed a way to get it onto our deck in back. So the only was to get it there was to have a crane lift it OVER the house and place it ever so GENTLY on the deck. Needless to say I was a basket case until it was done. Here's some pictures----sorry, they're kind of in reverse order.

The hot tub being ever so gently placed on the deck

The hot tub being lifted in the air by the crane--about to go over the house. (this would be the point I started biting my nails!!

Jed, Jason (Jed's best friend) and Lynn (Jed's dad) getting the straps ready to secure around the hot tub to prepare it to take flight!

You will be amazed to know it only took the crane guy about 5 minutes to lift it up over the house and onto the deck---what a pro!!!

Fall Colors

So this was yet another fun weekend with the Wheelers. Caleb and Sarah stopped in Provo on their way home from a buiness trip in Denver and spent the day with us. We went to dinner up in Heber at the Claimjumper and decided to drive up to Squaw Peak on our way to check out the fall colors. Of course the men had to be suckered into taking a few pictures for this blog worthy event!! As usual we had a blast hanging out with Sarah and Caleb and by the end of the night we all were sick from laughing so much. By the way---doesn't my husband look HOT in this picture!!

My Girlfriends Kitchen

So here's a fun new thing that my friends and I are trying......it's called "My Girlfriends Kitchen". Basically what you do is you go to this place and put together different meals that you can take home and put in your freezer and cook whenver you want to. All the food is already chopped and prepared for you and you just put it together. So tonight we made 6 meals including mexican lasagna, chicken and bisquits, pot roast and I can't remember the other ones. It only took us about an hour to make all of them. I would HIGHLY suggest it to all you out there who don't have a ton of time to cook. Plus---it was so fun!!! Oh yeah---and it's not that expensive either. You can check it out on www.mygirlfriendskitchen.com

BOYS and their TOYS!!

Most of you are aware that my husband has a hobby of selling and buying cars. I like to tease him that as soon as a car looses that new car smell he has to get rid of it. The fact of the matter is though that I can't complain cause he always seems to make money on the deals! In the two years we've been married he has had 5 different cars---and that's not including the junkers that he drives inbetween selling one vehicle and deciding what he'll get for his next vehicle. (Just go ahead and ask me about the 1992 Honda Accord that he made me drive for a month that had no 4th gear!) He even sold my car without me knowing!! I've learned that the term "every thing is for sale for the right price" is his motto. So here's the latest vehicle. I have to admit it has been so fun to have.

He even saved up his money to buy new tires and wheels. (don't anyone tell him I posted this picture without shining the wheels and tires before taking the picture----he would be mortified!)

Here's Cody driving the jeep to see how the new wheels are---whatever---he just wanted to drive it! Oh well, it was a good excuse to go with Jed, Cody and Missy to visit Shandy in the hospital---oh wait---she's still not there yet and it's 10pm----that's right--she's going in at 2am to be induced!!! Oh and one more thing......Jed wanted me to let you all know that if anyone wants a fun 2005 Jeep Rubicon---he happens to have one for sale!

So Long Seven Peaks

Rylee's ROCKSTAR pose!

Today was a tragic day.....it was our last day at Seven Peaks Water Park. This is where I've been pretty much every Saturday all summer long. No, I'm not 16 years old----I just love the sun ok! My friend Amy's little girl Rylee has been my faithful companion this summer. We said our good-bye's to Seven Peaks today by going down a few water slides, floating the lazy river and chillin in the wave pool. And just in case any of you are wondering...........no, Jed doesn't go with me, he prefers to get his tan by working on the farm.......how boring!
