Card Club

So I belong to a "card club". Now before you go off thinking I'm evil and belong to some gambling club let me explain. My old friend Jen (I mean we've been friends for a long time---Jen's not actually old) anyway....Jen started this club where we all make a card every month and we get together and exchange cards. There's 14 chics in our club so we go home with 14 different cards each month. I've taken a couple pictures of a few of my favorites from tonight. My sister-in-law Shay made my favorite one tonight---it's the black and white wedding card at the bottom. Let's be honest---if it wasn't for Shay I'd be kicked out of the club because she makes all my cards for me!! It's way fun and a super good excuse to get together with the girls every month. Chari hosted this month and made the best triffle (not "tri-fold" Jen) ever! Maybe I'll even post the recipe when I get it from her. As you can tell from the picture above....Lani takes card club VERY SERIOUSLY!!!!

Yea, Im not so cool. I declined the offer to the card club. Hey.. you all need someone to be able to give all those cute cards to. (with $$!!)
I think its time for you to branch out and start doing your own cards!!!

I wonder if Shay would make me some cards! I love those... It's a little too close to scrapbooking, so I refuse to make my own. :)

Oh, Carrie. Once upon a time, Nalani was sitting exactly where you are. But subtly, ever-so-slowly, she was drawn in. And you will be too...mark my words.

I like the green one.

Nalani bows to peer pressure easier than me I suppose... NEVER, no NEVER will I attempt anything related to scrapbooking...blogging is even too close sometimes. :)

Guarantee that the cards cost 3x the amount to make as they would to buy and 5x the amount of time. But they sure are cute and that really the bottom line.

Oh Carrie, how much you miss . . . I personally traded up my shoe obsession for scrapbooking and then changed it's name to Family History so that my husband thinks I'm following the prophet's counsel and not just spending money.
