So last night Jed and I went to dinner with Cody and Meridith and our friends Kim and Jason. After dinner we headed over to the new movie theatre in Orem (which I love!) and saw the new James Bond movie. We got to the theatre about 8pm and there was already a line around the building for the midnight showing of Twilight. I seriously couldn't believe all the people camped out! Now I will be honest---and I know I could damage some friendships with this comment....but I just don't get the whole Twilight following. I gave it a try....I read the first book----but I thought it was dumb and boring. I'm an avid reader and I love to read all types of books but the whole Twilight series just didn't do it for me in the least. So I wouldn't be so rude as to say that Twilight sucks .........but Cody would!!! Thus the title of this blog.....as we were leaving the movie theatre last night Cody rolled down his window and yelled at the top of his lung "LOSERS!!!!....Twilight sucks!!!!"---and he yelled it several times! If looks could kill we would have all been dead. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time! I told Cody that I hadn't had that much fun since I was twelve and toilet papering my young women leaders house! Meridith of course for mortified and Jed of course was disgusted with how immature Cody and I were being but I'm sorry---it was funny!!!!

On our plane to Washington back in September, the plane was full, coming and going, or "Twilighters." There were headed for or coming home from Forks, WA. They weren't quick and reserved either, I can tell you! A little out there I would say.

JK Like you, I gave the book a try - and it didn't do anything for me either. But as for your Brother/Sister antics, now there is something I get a good kick out of!! Too funny!!
So FUNNY! I also read the first one, it was good, but haven't had a desire to read the others. . .yet. I don't get all the hype. I would rather be sleeping at midnight! Cash is SO cute, I love your family pictures!
I love it!!!! I was at dinner at Cheesecake Factory last night and let me tell you...there were around 20 women (ages 25-45) dressed in black tie attire and had signs that said "I love Edward" and "I want a date with Edward"!!! I was in shock!!! I am with you...i love to read and I tried to read the books....but I did get further then you casue I thought they have to get better since everyone loves them. I read the 1st two and 1/2 of the 3rd and finally said I can't take it any more!!! But I do have to admit that I am going tonight to see the movie only because my sister in-law bought tickets in May and invited all of the girls in the family to go!
I loved the books and can't wait to go to the movie, BUT I will wait until the crowds cease...I am not a crowd loving person and so therefore, I wait. Also, I would have paid to see the "death threat looks" on those womes after Cody's yelling...HILARIOUS!!! I too don't get the dressing up and camping out crap...GET A LIFE women!

I remember when Darren, Cody, and Curtis would drive by the Annex dance club in Redmond. Darren would roll down his window and yell "Losers!" and Curt and Cody would laugh hysterically. Awwww, good memories. :)
Oh wait, I just had a brain fart...Darren used to yell "Nerds!" Phew, now I should go to sleep.
You crack me up! To each there own I guess. :) It is like that time we were making fun of all the people who dress up to see Harry Potter and then found out that one of our friends dresses up, and is naming there kids after all the Harry Potter charachters! We still love you Luke!
I so agree with you, I read the first got 1/2 way through the second and became disgusted so I havent continued. Too funny Cody yelling!!
This reminds me when mom picked Cody and I up from middle school one day and Cody yelled out our station wagon window "Ricardo Retardo" to a kid walking home and mom pulled the station wagon over and made him apologize. Things got pretty ugly there for a minute.

Although I like the books....this post still totally made me laugh. To each their own right? I went into reading the books thinking I would absolutly hate them...but actually ended up liking them. I have to say, I saw the movie and trust me...if you didn't like the book then you for sure woould hate the movie. It was a little cheesy at parts for sure!
Nalani, you crack me up! I have to say I haven't read any of the books so I can't say if they are good or bad but I find it hilarious that people are getting so excited about the movie! Maybe I don't know what I am missing out on ;)

That is hilarious. Sometimes its just fun to be immature, and I would have paid money to see Jed's reaction to that. haha.
