So I was talking to Maile on the phone today and I told her that I've officially turned into THAT mom-----you know, the kind who's life revolves around their kids nap schedule----I swore it would never happen but let me explain the situation.......Jed was out of town...I had to teach our primary class by myself and Cash is teething and was being fussy (I know, excuses...excuses!) so I set him down for a minute to play while I gathered up the rest of the stuff for primary and finished getting ready-----the next thing I know he's asleep!!!!! So this is when I turned into THAT mom-----I just couldn't do it.....I couldn't wake him up to go to church so I simply let him sleep and I skipped Sacramnet Meeting and as luck would have it my dad came over just in time for me to go to primary and I left him home with good ole' grandpa! I'm sure this is just the beginning of many things I'll do that I swore I never would! If you really want me to be honest I'll let you know that I think all moms shouldn't have to go to church for the first 5 years of their children's lifes! I honestly don't even know how people do it with more than one kid!!!! Here's just a couple random shots I've taken over the past month of my little munchkin. I don't mean to brag but the little dude seriously gets cuter every day!!---Yip I'm also turning into THAT mom that all they do is brag and post pictures of their kids.....lame!!

Oh gosh, I've been THAT mom since the day my Tatem was born! In ALL things you listed. I'm not ashamed!
holy crap, Cash is dang cute! I'm in love with him in that cute outfit, and the hat...omg, the hat! I LOVE IT! You're looking pretty dang cute too.
You're not lame. He does get cuter and cuter. And quite frankly...I agree with you on the church thing. I haven't even had mine yet but I find myself spending all my time on the couch in the foyer because my back and butt can't take the hard seats. I sit and wonder...is this really worth the effort of getting ready and squeezing into the last pair of shoes that fit me. In a few more week Arnold may just be rolling me to church in a bathrobe, proping me up on the couch and saying, "see ya in 3 hours".
It's ok though, I just hang out with all the new mom's who spend their entire church time in the foyer with their babies. It's a party.
Cash looks like a little golfer in that outfit. I love the hat and the shoes! What a cutie!
I am so disappointed in you Nalani. I thought that after a few years at college with me, you would understand the importance of never missing your meetings. Clearly the ill example of your parents overshadowed MY shining example. Tsk..tsk...
Wow. I'm right there with you. I can't tell you how many sacrament meetings we've missed because of Payton napping. We haul butt to church just in time to show up for our primary class. This actually makes me feel good to know I'm not alone. We need to share more stories of being THAT mom....cause we both totally are. :-)
Hey I am that mom too and I do not mind at all! Cash deserves all the attention and all the space on this blog because he is such a dang cutie!
He looks ready to hit the course in that outfit, too cute. I am the same way doing a million things I never thought I would do. I tell Ben I never felt inactive until I had kids. Jack has a goopy eye this week and couldn't go to nursery so what is the point of staying at church right? It's bad! I love that you are THAT mom, keep up the good work :)
he is so freaking cute. Seriously. And his clothes are darling. I totally agree with the moms not having to go to church bit...I was just telling Ben that on Sunday. How am I supposed to teach primary with a very active little dude when Ben is still EQP?
Oh, and let plan something for next week. Could you guys do something Monday?
Nothing wrong with being THAT mom. You have a cute kid to brag about.
You have a right to be THAT mom. Awaking a peaceful sleeping baby is next to torture (for both mom and baby) don't you think! And that little guy is CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!
When it comes to not disrupting naps, keep being that mom as long as you can! I don't think Cash can get any cuter. He is just the cutest little man!
Ok please dress him like that everyday!!! I miss you guys! Want to hang out next wed night? Cade gets off at 5
I hear ya on the church thing. Every Sunday I swear I am going to go home and write Thomas S. a letter begging for 2 hour church! Your babe is too cute!
hey, with a little guy THAT cute, who wouldn't be THAT mom. he's a doll. loved seeing you a couple of weeks ago.
He is cuter every time I see a new picture of him. I love the cowboy gear!!
