Santa has Arrived...and so has Snomobiling Season!

So Jed thinks it's pretty funny to put obnoxious Christmas decorations up outside of our house just to bug me. The scary part is he hasn't even got to the reindeer and santa's sleigh on top of our roof with another santa that looks like he's fallen out of the sleigh and is hanging from the raingutter. He thinks it's funny.....I think it's white trash. Jen and Chris Cameron were kind enough to give us the inflatable Santa in the picture above last year (thanks jerks!). The next picture is of Jed this morning leaving for the first day of snowmobiling for the year......he was soooo excited! You might notice I had to secretly take the picture out of my window because first of all Jed hates getting his picture taken for the blog and secondly I had the flu so I wasn't dressed yet but I had a good chuckle to myself thinking what he would do if I had gone outside in my fuzzy blue robe, no make-up, scary hair and said in a fun mom voice "ok boys! Everyone scooch together so I can get you all in this fun picture!!"

Just today at the church, one of the ladies said, "I hate those inflatable christmas things people have in their yards".....and I said, "Whatever, I love them. And kids LOVE them." She was just being a scrooge.

Today at work, I had someone call me over to their table and said hi and that I don't know her and called me by my first name. She has seen my blog through your blog. She knew my house and when she saw me working she said that is Shandy. She said she saw it through her brother, I am assuming Jed? Sorry I didn't get a name to let you know who it was. I thought it was funny. (that was long)

Shandy it was my best friend Karmen--she's here from Texas and she was picking up pizza for us last night---she came home and told me the story and I was laughing so hard! She's all "I had to say hi cause I feel like I know her!" She's all "it finally dawned on me that she's Curtis' wife when I was driving back to your house!"

That is a seriously funny story Shandy!!! I can't believe you've never met Karmen either, you two would get along, she is so funny.

Nalani, didn't you get that inflatable snowman as part of a white elephant gift? Last night Sam and I went to a Christmas party and I brought a case of top Ramen for my white elephant gift! Surprisingly, it was a huge hit.
