The 3 Amigos!!!
The 3 Amigos have multiplied and replenished to a total of 12 including spouses.
Pretty much anyone who knows me knows that I've had two best friends since Ricks College Days, Karmen & Sarah---(yes, Ricks College was 13 years ago! (I know, I know, I'm freakin old!!) Anyway, Karmen and Ty and her three kids flew in this weekend from Texas and Sarah and Caleb and their three kids came up from Blackfoot and we all headed to Gail & Todd's (Karmens mom) cabin for the weekend in Island Park. They have this incredible cabin right on Henry's Lake. It was seriously so fun. We went boating and 4-wheelin and roasted marshmallows and fed the fish and hunted for Jed's wedding ring (thanks to Karmen for finding it---she heard us tell the kids we'd pay them $20 if they found the ring and that was all the motivation she needed----and yes, Jed paid up---hey a $20 finder fee was a lot cheaper than buying a new ring!). Needless to say we all had a blast. Jed said to me the second day---"Oh my gosh you guys can all talk---I go to bed listening to Karmen talking and I wake up to Karmen talking!!!!" Thanks again to Gail for treating us like royalty---she really shouldn't have been so good to us because we're going to want to make this a tradition every summer!!!

You are so lucky you found his ring. That would have SUCKED!
We lost Sam's ring in a field in Idaho somewhere...crazy kid! We were on a road trip to Seattle and he took it off and sat it in his lap so he wouldn't get drippings from his Wendy's hamburger on it. Then we switched drivers next to a field in Idaho and that was the last time he had it. I replaced it for his U of U graduation present.
Oh yeah! I'm way jealous of your weekend getaway! Let me ride in your suitcase next time. :)

I can't believe you beat me to the update! And I am with Schroed on this one- Natalie will never forgive us. Unless we tell her to..she's easily influenced like that. Plus, if we'd invited her she probably would have wanted to run a marathon or some such crazy thing. Now I gotta go update... only I'll use the pictures that are more flattering to me, of course......

I will only be jealous if you tell me that while at a cabin in Island Park you pretended to be on OPRAH.

I forgot about pretending to be on Oprah! Aren't we funny! Next time we are together, Nalani, I promise to do the centipede if you do your "Oprah" impression. Then I'll just have to find a way to add a video clip to my blog for all the world to see.
